Gracious God
in the spiritual awakening of that first Pentecost, in the kairos moment of diverse voices heard and understood through deep listening, some witnesses showed contempt, no space in their minds and hearts for this new profound thing.
Today, let us pray for the grace to see and embrace the new thing you are doing in our lives, in our communities, and in our aching, grieving world.
In the name of the ever renewing, ever surprising One, Amen.
